I'm excited. A Pokemon game set in feudal Japan designed to actually explain real lore to the players. It's actually designed (supposedly) to be geared for a more mature and adult audience. This is actually nice because Pokemon recently celebrated 25 YEARS as a game. Those of us who grew up on it like me (I was 6 when Pokemon hit the US, and about 7-8 when I finally got to play the games) Now that we're older, those of us who never truly grew out of the games (I've played all 8 generations) can finally enjoy a game that isn't made solely for children. While the original games aren't hard anymore now that we understand the ins and outs of Pokemon, the newer games are almost painfully easy. The older jokes and one liners that passed us as kids made us laugh as adults, but they don't add them into the newer games. I'm really hoping they live up to our expectations with this game!
This also means that for most of us, especially the adults, it's time once again to pick a starter
